FAQs
How long can my device run when connected to the R2500?
The runtime can be calculated as follows: Runtime = Battery Capacity x Inverter Efficiency ÷ Rated Power of the device. For example, if the R2500 is used to power a 400W e-Bike, the runtime would be 2016Wh x 86% ÷ 400W ≈ 4.3 hours. The above data is for reference ONLY. Please note that the formula is NOT suitable for inductive loads with compressors, like refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
What devices can the R2500 power?
The R2500 has a 2500W AC output (4000W peak), allowing you to power devices with a rated power of up to 2500W and a peak power of up to 4000W.
What kind of solar panel should I choose for the R2500?
The R2500 is equipped with an XT60 interface with a maximum solar input of 1000W, allowing for seamless connection with a variety of solar panels.
Compatible Solar Panels:
- SP039 600W Foldable
- SF400 400W Flexible: Up to 2 series or parallel connections
- SP037 400W Foldable: Up to 2 series connections
- SP035/SP033 200W Foldable: Up to 4 series connections
- SF200: Up to 3 series connections or 2 parallel connections
- SP029: Up to 4 series connections
- SF100: Up to 4 series connections or 3 parallel connections
- SP027: Up to 4 series connections or 2 parallel connections
Third-Party Solar Panels (12~150V)⎓13A
If you prefer to use third-party solar panels, ensure they meet the following specifications:
- Voltage Range: 12-150V
- Current Range: Under 13A
- Maximum Power Input: 1000W
Can I charge the R2500 with a car cigarette lighter?
Yes, you can charge the R2500 with a 12V/24V car cigarette lighter. You will need a Car to XT60 cable.
Can I connect the R2500 to my existing solar balcony system to use it as a storage battery?
Yes, the R2500 is designed to integrate seamlessly with solar photovoltaic systems like those found on balconies and rooftops. The R2500 stores excess solar energy generated during the day in its internal battery bank. This stored solar electricity can then be used to power your home's essential appliances and electronics when grid power is unavailable.
To connect it to your balcony PV system, simply wire the solar charge controller to the R2500's DC input. This allows the solar panels to charge the R2500 battery bank directly.
